EGL UK is a wholesale energy trading company, active in the UK electricity, natural gas, oil, carbon and renewable obligation markets. We are a member of the pan European EGL Group.
We have a strong and knowledgeable team, with a combined eighty years of energy market experience across both proprietary trading and client solutions. Our areas of expertise are:
- Optimisation of physical assets across all energy classes;
- Management of energy price risk on behalf of our customers. This includes providing hedging and market entry solutions to a network of energy producers, project developers and energy users;
- Market analysis (which will shortly be available to registered clients here).

We adopt robust risk management practices in the areas of market, credit, legal and operational risks. Controls are implemented throughout the transaction process, from execution to settlement, within our flat and flexible structure and with no unnecessary bureaucracy.
