EGL has signed one of Romania's first Wind Management Service Contract

Bucharest – EGL Gas & Power Romania S.A. ("EGL Romania") has signed one of Romania's largest wind management service contract with EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR"), through its subsidiary EDP Renewables Romania, S.R.L., a global leader in the renewable energy sector. Thus EGL will assume the balancing responsibility and market the wind  energy to be generated by the 90 MW Pestera wind farm located in Pestera, Constanta County which is under construction and will be fully operational before the end of 2010. The contract with EDPR further strengthens EGL's leading position in the Romanian energy market.
