EGL Romania performs bilateral sale-purchase power agreements with more than 30 licensed suppliers. Our company is a founding member of the Association of Power Suppliers in Romania – AFEER www.afeer.ro
EGL Romania is an active player on different trading platforms both locally and abroad, aiming at boosting power trading activities in Southeast Europe. EGL Romania has contributed and will continue to contribute to developing such trading platforms in order to increase market liquidity.
Through all of its activities EGL Romania proves to be a reliable partner among other players in the power market.
Derivatives
EGL Romania is stepping up efforts to start trading with derivatives so it can become one of the first traders of such products on a centralised market. Even in the absence of such a market for the time being, EGL Romania is already active with trading of certain derivative products because it already possesses the experience of futures and swap contracts.
