EGL Romania is active both in the field of natural gas acquisitions and in that of natural gas supplying as it is seeking an increase of its natural gas business portfolio including through new storage projects and the diversification of its sources.
EGL Romania’s natural gas supplying services
In the context of the liberalisation of Romania’s energy market, which started in 2001, industrial consumers now free to choose their natural gas suppliers are interested to work with reliable partners. EGL Romania is therefore constantly preoccupied to satisfy its clients’ demands as well as in the improvement of its services, mainly the security of supply, attractive prices as well as specific advisory services as a consequence of legislative dynamics.
EGL Romania always seeks to achieve security of supply
EGL Romania, while always observing the principles of quality and security of deliveries, is constantly preoccupied with ensuring enough gas supplies needed to cover the peak consumption periods during the cold season by using underground storage opportunities and services. At the same time, EGL Romania concludes contracts for system services with natural gas transport and distribution operators. Such contracts are mutually guaranteed.
EGL Romania seeks natural gas acquisitions/deliveries based on the following principles:
- permanent focus on the diversification of sources in order to efficiently build its natural gas portfolio while also ensure for a balanced structure of the supply origins, both from internal (Romanian) production but also from imports;
- natural gas deliveries to the end consumers are performed in full respect of the existing legislation (ensuring the structures of sources and observing performance criteria.)
