EGL Nordic is a subsidiary of the Swiss energy trading company EGL AG. EGL Nordic has 31 employees: 20 in Oslo (Norway), 8 in Malmø (Sweden), and 3 in Helsinki (Finland).

EGL Nordic is active in all Nordic countries in addition to the Baltics. The Swedish activities are managed through the Malmö-based subsidiary EGL Sverige AB. In Finland and in the Baltics, EGL Nordic is represented by its subsidiary EGL Finland Oy. The range of activities is wide and includes trading of standardised products such as futures, forwards and options on Nordic and German power, as well as coal and CO2. Trading is both exchange-based (NASDAQ OMX Commodities and Nord Pool Spot) and bilateral.

EGL Nordic also offers structured and sophisticated products, and portfolio management solutions for industry, distributors, producers and players within renewable energy. One of our key competences is to optimise and resolve complicated energy demands and exposures.

EGL Nordic is also continuously positioning itself to take advantage of strategic opportunities in the power sector.
