EGL Energía Iberia offers the special system producer a wide range of services that cover the different possibilities offered by regulations in force.
Furthermore, various alternatives are offered to guarantee revenues. This enables the producer to mitigate market risks.
Market Representation
Representation "on the behalf of and on the account of a third party"
In this option, the producer receives the energy sale liquidations at OMEL and the deviation energy liquidation with REE. This representation option does not admit the compensation of deviations between producers.
Representation "on its own behalf of and on the account of a third party"
In this option, OMEL and REE liquidate with the producer via EGL Energía Iberia. All necessary guarantees for OMEL and REE for operating on the market shall be established by EGL Energía Iberia.
Representation in "the company's own name or on the account of third parties" admits the alternative of being a liquidating subject for OMEL while maintaining the portfolio effect.
Rate Representation
According to valid law, the facilities that have chosen option "a" of Article 24.1 may sell their energy through an agent in its own name. (RD. 661/2007. Transitional provision six)
EGL Energía Iberia performs energy management for Omel and REE. Regarding the fare liquidation and the deviation surcharge, the regulatory provisions will be followed.
Revenue Guarantee
Fixed Price: In this option, EGL and the producer establish a guarantee of revenues for all exported electric energy, thus removing the price uncertainty in the market option framework.
Basic Charge: In this option, the producer agrees to a basic load with EGL at a certain price for a given power, and for the period chosen by the producer.
Control Center
EGL makes its REE certified control center available to the producers who, according to valid law, are obliged to be affiliated with a control center.
EGL's control center offers services in addition to the ones that are strictly required.
Special System Producers
